The DDR-30G is a 30W DIN Rail type DC-DC converter with a 35mm (2SU) profile, designed for industrial control cabinets and distributed power systems. A 4:1 wide input voltage range of 9~36Vdc supports a broad range of DC supply sources, while reinforced 4KVdc I/O isolation ensures noise-free power conversion. Cooled entirely by free air convection with no minimum load requirement, it operates reliably from -40~+85°C.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the DDR-30G-15 to power 15V instrumentation from a 24V DC bus?
Yes. The DDR-30G-15 accepts 9-36V DC input and outputs 15V at up to 2A (30W). A 24V bus voltage is within its input range, so it can step down to 15V for legacy instruments, analog signal conditioners, or measurement modules that require a 15V rail.
Is the DDR-30G-15 a good choice for powering 15V control circuits in a compact DIN rail panel?
Yes. At only 90.0 x 54.5 x 35.0 mm and 0.12 kg, the DDR-30G-15 fits in tight spaces. It provides 30W at 15V/2A, which is enough for small relay boards, timer modules, or interface circuits commonly found in compact machine control panels.
Can the DDR-30G-15 handle voltage swings from a vehicle or mobile 24V electrical system?
Yes. The DDR-30G-15's 9-36V input range accommodates the voltage sags and surges typical of 24V vehicle electrical systems (trucks, forklifts, boats). It delivers a stable 15V output at up to 2A, suitable for onboard electronic instruments or communication modules.
Can the DDR-30G-15 be installed in a sealed enclosure without ventilation?
Yes. The DDR-30G-15 is entirely fanless and relies on convection cooling. With a -40°C to +85°C operating range and only 30W of total power, it generates modest heat that a sealed enclosure can dissipate without forced airflow in most ambient conditions.
Can I use the DDR-30G-15 to supply 15V power in an agricultural or greenhouse monitoring system?
Yes. If the DC source (such as a solar battery or tractor electrical system) stays between 9V and 36V, the DDR-30G-15 provides a stable 15V at up to 2A. Its -40°C to +85°C rating handles the temperature extremes found in greenhouses, barns, and outdoor agricultural installations.
