Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the HLG-60H-54 to power 54V LED high-bay light modules?
Yes, provided the total load stays within 60W. The HLG-60H-54 outputs 54V at up to 1.15A in constant-current mode with a CC range of 32-54V. This suits small 54V high-bay or troffer modules in workshops, storerooms, or utility areas where a compact driver is sufficient.
Is the HLG-60H-54 suitable for driving 54V LED modules inside an outdoor sign cabinet?
Yes. Its IP67 waterproof rating and aluminium casing protect against dust and water, while the -40°C to +80°C operating range covers year-round outdoor temperatures. At 60W it can handle small to medium 54V sign module arrays. Note this is a fixed-output model with no dimming or adjustment.
Can the HLG-60H-54 be used for 54V LED horticultural fixtures?
Yes. The 60W output at 54V with IP67 waterproofing makes it suitable for grow rooms or greenhouse environments with high humidity. The wide 90-305VAC input handles different mains voltages found in agricultural facilities. Keep total connected load within 60W.
How many meters of 54V LED strip can the HLG-60H-54 support?
Divide 60W by the strip's rated power per meter. For a 54V strip at 10W/m, you get 6 meters (60W / 10W per meter = 6m). At 20W/m, you get 3 meters. Always check your strip's datasheet for rated wattage per meter and keep total draw at or below 60W.
Can the HLG-60H-54 operate in freezing conditions below -20°C?
Yes. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +80°C, so it handles deep-freeze environments as well as extreme heat. Combined with IP67 dust-tight and waterproof protection, it is reliable for cold-storage facilities, ski resort lighting, or other sub-zero installations.
What are the differences between the HLG-60H-54 and the HLG-60H-54A?
Both output 60W at 54V / 1.15A with a CC range of 32-54V. The HLG-60H-54 has fixed output and IP67 waterproof protection. The HLG-60H-54A adds a potentiometer for output voltage and current adjustment but is rated IP65 instead of IP67. Choose the base model for maximum waterproofing, or the -54A when you need to fine-tune output levels.
