INTRODUCTION

With the rapid development of urban areas, there has been an increased need for secure, reliable, certified, and intelligent power supplies in the security and fire alarm industry. To address this need, MEAN WELL is proud to introduce its new Enclosed Type Economical Security/Fire Alarm Power Supply LAD series. This series includes the PSC, DRC, DRS, SCP, and AD series, which cover a range of 35W to 480W, and is available in three complete product lines: PCB type, DIN rail type, and enclosed type.
The LAD series is designed with a 1U thin enclosed structure and is divided into two models: the basic model (LAD-120/240/360/600) and UART communication model (LAD-360/600xU). Both models feature CH1 output that can power loads, while the built-in auxiliary output CH2 charges the battery, providing a UPS function. The CH1 output voltage can be adjusted from -20% to +5%, making it suitable for various battery types and precise voltage adjustments. The LAD series is equipped with complete protections such as Short circuit/ OLP/ OVP/ OTP/ BAT, UVP/ BAT, Reverse polarity, and safety approvals like CB/ UL/ RCM/ CE/ UKCA/ EAC, in line with GB17945 and GB4717 (UART version only) fire regulations. It is ideal for security control, fire protection, emergency lighting, access control alarm, computer room and peripherals, central monitoring, and all other UPS system needs.
