The ELG-150-42 delivers 150W at 42V. To estimate maximum strip length, divide 150W by your strip's watt-per-meter rating. For a 10 W/m strip, that is approximately 15 meters; for a 14.4 W/m strip, approximately 10.4 meters. Always verify your strip's specific power per meter and limit continuous load to 80%, giving roughly 12 m and 8.3 m respectively in those examples.
Is the ELG-150-42 suitable for wet-location or rain-exposed LED luminaire applications?
Yes. With an IP67 rating, the ELG-150-42 is dust-tight and protected against temporary water immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. This qualifies it for wet-location luminaires, outdoor wall washers, or facade-mounted fixtures where direct moisture exposure is expected.
Does the ELG-150-42 include dimming capability or output adjustment?
No. The ELG-150-42 base model (no letter suffix) does not include external dimming inputs or a built-in adjustment potentiometer. For external 0–10V dimming, choose the ELG-150-42A or ELG-150-42AB; for built-in trimming only, choose the ELG-150-42B; for DALI dimming, choose the ELG-150-42DA or ELG-150-42D2.
