How many meters of 42V LED strip can the ELG-240-42D2 support?
With a 240W maximum output, the driver can support a total LED strip load up to 240W. For a strip consuming 20W per meter, that is 12 meters at full capacity (240 ÷ 20 = 12 m). Best practice is to size the load to about 80% of the driver rating—192W—giving approximately 9.6 meters at that power density; verify the rated watts per meter on your specific strip.
