Divide 185W by your strip's wattage per meter. For example, a 36V strip rated at 14W/m would allow about 13.2 meters (185W / 14W per meter = 13.2m). Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep the total load at or below 185W.
Can the HLG-185H-36 be installed in a location fully exposed to rain and dust?
Yes. The IP67 rating means it is completely dust-tight and can withstand temporary submersion up to 1 meter. It can be mounted outdoors without any secondary enclosure. The operating temperature range of -40°C to +90°C covers extreme cold and hot climates.
What are the differences between the HLG-185H-36, 36A, 36AB, and 36B variants?
All four share the same 185W / 36V / 5.2A core specs. The base HLG-185H-36 has fixed output and IP67 waterproof rating. The -36A adds output voltage/current adjustment via built-in potentiometer (IP65). The -36AB adds both adjustment and 1-10V/PWM dimming input (IP65). The -36B adds dimming input only and retains the IP67 waterproof rating.
