Is the ELG-100-C700AB appropriate for outdoor or damp-location luminaire installations?
The ELG-100-C700AB is rated IP65, meaning it is protected against low-pressure water jets but is not rated for temporary immersion. It is suitable for damp indoor locations and sheltered outdoor enclosures, but not for direct outdoor exposure without housing. For harsher outdoor exposure, the IP67-rated ELG-100-C700B covers the same wattage and current with added waterproof protection.
