Overview
HBG-100-48AB is the model of this series: rated current 2A, rated power 96W, typical efficiency 91%. Type AB: Io adjustable through built-in potentiometer with 3 in 1 dimming function (IP65).
HBG-100 series is a 100W AC/DC LED driver featuring the circular shape design. It operates from 90~305VAC and offers the constant current output models with different rated voltage between 24V and 60V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 91.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +85℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HBG-100 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes10
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 3. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 4. Length of set up time is measured at cold first start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 6. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 7. This series meets the typical life expectancy of >50,000 hours of operation when Tcase, particularly tc point (or TMP, per DLC), is about 75℃ or less.

Can I use the HBG-100-48AB for constant current LED downlights instead of a constant voltage supply?
Yes, this model is a constant current LED driver with a 28.8-48V CC output range and a 96W rating. It is intended for downlights designed around constant current operation, not constant voltage input.
