HLG-80H series is a 80W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-80H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 91%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications.

Test conditions and notes13

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.

Can the HLG-80H-54 be mounted outdoors in direct rain without an enclosure?

Yes. The HLG-80H-54 is IP67 rated, and the sheet describes the series as fit for both indoor and outdoor applications, so it can be mounted outdoors in direct rain. What are the differences between the HLG-80H-54, 54A, 54AB, and 54B models?

All four share the same 80W / 54V / 1.5A core specs. The base HLG-80H-54 has fixed output and IP67 rating. The -54A adds output voltage/current adjustment via potentiometers (IP65). The -54AB adds output current adjustment plus a 3-in-1 (1-10V/PWM/resistance) dimming input (IP65). The -54B provides the dimming input only and retains IP67.
