Overview
HVG-100-15B is the 15V output model of this series: rated current 5A, rated power 75W, typical efficiency 89%. Type B: 3 in 1 dimming function (0~10Vdc, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP67).
HVG-100 series is a 100W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HVG-100 operates from 180~528 VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 15V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 91%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HVG-100 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes12
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 347VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Can I use the HVG-100-15B for 15V LED strip lighting in a damp or outdoor area?
Yes, it is a 15V driver rated for 75W and 5A, so it fits 15V lighting loads that stay within those limits. The HVG-100 series is IP65 or IP67 approved, and with a waterproof connector on the output cable it can operate in damp, wet or outdoor locations.
Is this driver a good fit for 15V illuminated signage or channel-style lighting?
It can be used for 15V signage lighting when the total load does not exceed 75W or 5A. The series' IP65/IP67 approval also makes it appropriate for sign installations exposed to weather.
Can the HVG-100-15B power architectural or accent lighting that needs a 15V supply?

How much 15V LED strip can this driver support?
Use the strip's rated watts per meter to calculate it: maximum length = 75W ÷ strip watts per meter. The current limit is also 5A, so your strip must stay within both 75W and 5A, and you should check your strip rated power per meter before sizing.
Is the HVG-100-15B suitable for exposed outdoor and wet conditions?
The HVG-100 series is IP65 or IP67 approved and rated for a case temperature (Tcase) of -40°C to +90°C, so it is designed for demanding environments. With a waterproof connector on the output cable, it can be used where the driver may be exposed to rain or other wet conditions.
