Overview

HVG-100-20A is the 20V output model of this series: rated current 4.8A, rated power 96W, typical efficiency 90%. Type A: Io and Vo adjustable through built-in potentiometer (IP65).

HVG-100 series is a 100W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HVG-100 operates from 180~528 VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 15V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 91%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HVG-100 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes13

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 347VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

Can I use the HVG-100-20A for 20V LED strip lighting in covered outdoor spaces?

Yes, if your 20V lighting load stays within 96W and 4.8A. The HVG-100 series is IP65 or IP67 approved, and with a waterproof connector on the output cable it suits covered or exposed outdoor areas where the driver may see dust or water spray.

Is this a suitable power supply for 20V illuminated sign lighting?

It is suitable for 20V sign lighting loads that stay within the driver's 96W maximum and 4.8A output. The 10-20V constant current range means the connected lighting load also needs to match that output range.

Can the HVG-100-20A be used for 20V linear or accent lighting runs?

It can be used where the lighting product requires 20V and the total demand remains at or below 96W. With 4.8A output and a case temperature (Tcase) rating of -40°C to +90°C, it is designed for commercial lighting environments as long as the load is correctly matched.
