Maximum strip length is calculated as 65W divided by the strip's rated power per meter. Total load must stay within 65W and within the driver's 2.71A output at 24V. Check your strip rated power per meter before sizing the run.
Is the HVG-65-24B better for wet areas than the 24A or 24AB versions?
For environmental protection, yes: this model is IP67 waterproof, while the 24A and 24AB versions are IP65 water-resistant. All three are 24V, 65W, and 2.71A models, but the B version is the one positioned for more exposed wet outdoor conditions. Electrical output stays the same at 24V and 2.71A.
