Test conditions and notes5
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1μF & 47μF parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. The power supply is considered a component which will be installed into a final equipment. All the EMC tests are been executed by mounting the unit on a 360mm*360mm metal plate with 1mm of thickness. The final equipment must be re-confirmed that it still meets EMC directives. For guidance on how to perform these EMC tests, please refer to “EMI testing of component power supplies.” (as available on https://www.meanwell.com//Upload/PDF/EMI_statement_en.pdf )

Can I use the Mean Well LPP-150-48 for a 48V industrial control or automation system?
It is intended for constant-voltage applications that need 48V output, up to 3.2A, and 153.6W. That makes it a fit for 48V industrial, embedded, or automation equipment when the load stays within those output limits.
Is the LPP-150-48 suitable for 48V embedded or IT equipment?
It can suit 48V embedded or IT equipment that needs a constant 48V supply and draws no more than 3.2A or 153.6W. The wide 85-264VAC input also helps when the equipment is used across standard AC power environments.
Can I use this 48V power supply for a higher-power 48V device than the LPP-100-48?

Is the LPP-150-48 suitable for outdoor or harsh-environment use?
The provided specs list an operating temperature of -10°C to +60°C with a cooling fan, subject to the derating curve (the sheet gives curves with an 18CFM fan and with no fan, where the load must be derated), but they do not include an IP rating. Based on that, outdoor or exposed-environment suitability cannot be confirmed from the provided data alone.
