Overview
NPF-40-30 is the 30V output model of this series: rated current 1.34A, rated power 40.2W, typical efficiency 89%.
NPF-40 series is a 40W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual modes constant voltage and constant current output. NPF-40 operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ～ +85℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for a variety of applications at dry, damp or wet locations.

Test conditions and notes11
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 8. This series meets the typical life expectancy of >50,000 hours of operation when Tcase, particularly tc point (or TMP, per DLC), is about 75℃ or less.

Is the NPF-40-30 appropriate for outdoor or wet-location installations?
Yes. The NPF-40-30 is IP67 approved and operates at a case temperature (Tcase) of -40°C to +85°C, with load derating at higher temperatures. Its compact sealed housing (150.0 × 53.0 × 35.0 mm) suits outdoor landscape fixtures, architectural lighting channels, and damp industrial enclosures.
What 30V LED applications suit the NPF-40-30?
The NPF-40-30 outputs 30V DC at 1.34A (40.2W) in constant-current mode with a CC range of 18–30V. It suits low-to-medium-length 30V LED strings in compact commercial fixtures, small architectural accent lights, and automation equipment with 30V LED indicator arrays.
How does the NPF-40-30 compare to the NPF-40-24 and NPF-40-36?

Does the NPF-40-30 need a ground connection?
The NPF-40-30's input cable has only two conductors, AC/L (brown) and AC/N (blue), so there is no FG (earth) wire to connect. Input-to-output isolation is rated at 3.75KVAC withstand voltage and 100M Ohms / 500VDC isolation resistance.
