Overview
NPF-90D-20 is the model of this series: rated current 4.5A, rated power 90W, typical efficiency 90%.
NPF-90D series is a 90W AC/DC LED driver featuring the constant current mode output. NPF-90D operates from 90~305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40~+85℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for a variety of applications at dry, damp or wet locations. NPF-90D is equipped with the 3 in 1 dimming function so as to provide the design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes10
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 3. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 4. The standby power consumption is specified for 230VAC.
- 5. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 6. This series meets the typical life expectancy of >50,000 hours of operation when Tcase, particularly tc point (or TMP, per DLC), is about 75℃ or less.

What dimming inputs does the NPF-90D-20 accept?
The NPF-90D-20 integrates 3-in-1 dimming, accepting a 10V PWM signal, 0–10VDC, or resistance between DIM+ and DIM-, all built in without external dimming accessories.
Is the NPF-90D-20 a good match for dimmable 20V LED panels in a medical imaging facility?
The NPF-90D-20 delivers 90W at 20V with a constant current of 4.5A and built-in dimming for general LED panel lighting. Its datasheet lists only lighting safety standards (UL8750, EN61347) and no medical approvals, so it is not intended for medical equipment or medical-grade use.
How does the NPF-90D-20 differ from the NPF-60D-20?
The NPF-90D-20 is a dimmable 20V IP67 driver with 3-in-1 dimming, rated 90W at 4.5A (171.0 × 63.0 × 37.5 mm, 0.77 kg). The NPF-60D-20 is not covered by this datasheet; check its own spec sheet and select based on the LED load’s total wattage.
Can the NPF-90D-20 operate in an outdoor carport or canopy structure exposed to rain?
Yes. The NPF-90D-20 is IP67 approved and works at a case temperature (Tcase) of -40°C to +85°C with load derating at higher temperatures, making it appropriate for outdoor carport or canopy LED lighting in wet conditions.
Does the NPF-90D-20 require a ground connection?
No. The NPF-90D-20's input cable has only two conductors, AC/L (brown) and AC/N (blue), with no earth (FG) wire, so there is no ground connection to make.
