Over 15 years experience of providing support of MEAN WELL Power Supplies
Description
Description
The MEAN WELL NSP-750 series is a 750W high-reliability AC/DC enclosed power supply engineered for industrial, medical, automation, telecommunications, PoE power sourcing, mechanical equipment, and home automation applications. With a universal 85–305VAC input and built-in active PFC, it delivers up to 95% efficiency and extremely low no-load power consumption under 0.75–1W depending on model. The compact 199×105×41 mm design incorporates forced-air cooling with a built-in temperature-controlled DC fan and supports 200% peak power capability for up to 5 seconds. The NSP-750 series features constant current limiting, wide operating temperature from –40°C to +85°C, remote ON/OFF, remote sense, auxiliary outputs (5V/12V), and a DC OK signal for system monitoring. With extremely low leakage current (<350µA), 2×MOPP medical safety approval, and certifications across ITE, medical, household, industrial, and energy-conversion standards, it offers robust performance for demanding multi-industry applications and high-altitude installations up to 5000 meters.

Frequently Asked Questions
What applications is the Mean Well NSP-750-24 designed for?
The NSP-750-24 is built for demanding 24V systems in industrial automation, telecommunications, PoE power sourcing, mechanical equipment, home automation, and medical-related equipment. Its 751.2W output, 2xMOPP medical approval, low leakage current, and high-reliability design make it a strong fit where uptime and compliance matter.
Is the NSP-750-24 suitable for 24V loads up to 31.3A?
Yes. This model is rated for 24V output at up to 31.3A continuous current, which equals 751.2W total output power. Buyers sizing around a 24V system should check that their normal operating load stays within that continuous rating.
What input range does the NSP-750-24 support?
The NSP-750-24 accepts a universal 85-305VAC input and also supports 120-431VDC input. That wide range makes it practical for industrial and commercial projects that may face varying mains conditions across regions or installations.
Can the NSP-750-24 handle short peak-demand events?
Yes. The NSP-750 series supports 200% peak power capability for up to 5 seconds, which helps with brief surge demands during system operation. That is a useful differentiator for equipment with temporary high inrush or short burst loads, while the continuous rating remains 751.2W.
How does the NSP-750-24 perform in harsh environments?
This model is specified for operation from -40°C to +85°C, with derating above +60°C, and it is designed for high-altitude use up to 5000 meters. It also uses a conformal coated PCB and includes overtemperature protection, which supports use in tougher industrial environments.
What monitoring and control features are available on the NSP-750-24?
The NSP-750-24 includes remote ON/OFF control, remote sense with up to 0.3V compensation, a DC OK signal, and auxiliary 5V/12V outputs. These features make it easier to integrate into monitored systems that need status feedback and tighter output management.
