Test conditions and notes10
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Derating may be needed under low input voltage. Please check the static characteristics for more details. Please connect L line to the positive pole and N line to the negative pole under DC input.
- 5. The power supply is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the power supply may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. This product is not intended for LED lighting luminaire applications in the EU and China.(In the EU and China the LPF/NPF/XLG/XLC/XLN series are recommended.)
- 8. The ambient temperature derating of 3.5℃/1000m with fanless models and of 5℃/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).

What 5V LED loads can the APV-16-5 drive?
The APV-16-5 outputs 5V at 2.6A for a maximum of 13W. It is suited to 5V addressable LED strips, 5V LED pixel arrays, and small 5V LED panel installations where the combined load does not exceed 13W.
How many meters of 5V LED strip can the APV-16-5 power?
The APV-16-5 delivers 13W at 5V. At a strip rated 5 W/m, that supports roughly 2.6 m. Divide 13W by your strip's rated power per meter for your specific limit, and check your strip's rated power per meter before finalizing the design.
Is the APV-16-5 protected against moisture in food service or retail environments?
The APV-16-5 is rated IP42, offering protection against particles larger than 1 mm and dripping water only. In food service or retail display environments with potential for cleaning spray or condensation, the driver should be housed in a sealed IP-rated enclosure or replaced with a driver rated IP65 or higher.
