The B suffix designates a three-in-one dimming interface: PWM signal (10V/1kHz), 0–10V analog signal, and resistance dimming (10–100kΩ). All three methods can reduce the output to a low level, making the ELG-150-24B compatible with standard commercial dimmer controllers.
What strip length can the ELG-150-24B support at 24V?
The driver can supply up to 150W total. For a 10 W/m strip, that is up to 15 m (150 ÷ 10). For a 19.2 W/m strip, approximately 7.8 m (150 ÷ 19.2). Check your specific strip's rated power per meter; never exceed the 150W total output.
Can the ELG-150-24B power LED strips in a cold-room or freezer environment?
Yes. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +90°C, so the driver functions normally in sub-zero cold-room or freezer environments. The IP67-rated metal enclosure provides additional protection against condensation and moisture in those settings.
Is the ELG-150-24B suitable for use in a neon-replacement LED tube signage project?
