ELG-240-24B is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 10A, typical efficiency 92%. Type B: 3 in 1 dimming function (0~10Vdc, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP67).

ELG-240 series is a 240W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. ELG-240 operates from 100～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 24V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. ELG-240 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system

Test conditions and notes13

3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.

Can the ELG-240-24B be mounted inside an outdoor below-grade landscape lighting vault?

Possibly. The ELG-240 series is rated IP65 or IP67, and only IP67 covers temporary water immersion, so confirm the unit's IP rating before mounting it in a below-grade landscape lighting enclosure where rain infiltration or pooling water may occur.

Is the ELG-240-24B a good fit for 24V LED strip lighting in a cold-storage facility?

Yes. The driver is specified for a case temperature of -40°C to +90°C, covering the low temperatures found in cold-storage and refrigerated warehouse environments. Note that the working humidity is specified as 20–95% RH non-condensing, so protect it from the condensation that forms when equipment moves between cold and ambient air zones.

Can the ELG-240-24B power 24V LED strips in a large outdoor parking structure or garage?

Yes. The IP65/IP67 rating handles moisture and rain ingress, while the -40°C to +90°C case temperature range covers the seasonal temperature envelope of an unheated structure. At 240W, it supports the long continuous strip runs needed for multi-bay garage lighting.

How many meters of 24V LED strip can the ELG-240-24B support?

The ELG-240-24B outputs 240W at 24V on 200–305VAC input (180W on 100–180VAC). For a 14.4 W/m strip, 240 ÷ 14.4 gives approximately 16.6 meters; for a 10 W/m strip, up to 24 meters. Verify your strip's rated wattage per meter; leaving about 20% headroom is a sensible margin.

Does the ELG-240-24B support PWM dimming for use with smart lighting controllers?

Yes. The 'B' suffix designates 3-in-1 dimming, which accepts 10V PWM (100Hz–3KHz), 0–10VDC and resistance control signals. This allows use with smart lighting controllers, DMX-to-PWM converters or DALI-to-PWM gateways that output one of these signals.

How does the ELG-240-24B differ from the ELG-240-24AB?

Both models share the 240W, 24V, 10A rating and identical dimensions, and both provide 3-in-1 dimming. The ELG-240-24AB adds a built-in potentiometer for output voltage (22.4–25.6V) and current (5–10A) adjustment. The datasheet rates the ELG-240 series IP65 or IP67.
