Overview
HLG-100H-20B is the 20V output model of this series: rated current 4.8A, rated power 96W, typical efficiency 93%. Type B: 3 in 1 dimming function (1~10VDC, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP67).
HLG-100H series is a 100W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-100H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 20V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-100H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.

Can I use the HLG-100H-20B with a PWM dimmer to control outdoor 20V LED strips?
Yes. The HLG-100H-20B accepts 10V PWM, 1-10V and resistance dimming signals, and the HLG-100H series' IP65/IP67 metal-housing design suits outdoor installations, so it can be dimmed via an external controller outdoors. It delivers up to 96W at 20V.
Is the HLG-100H-20B suitable for dimmable 20V LED sign lighting exposed to weather?
Yes. The series' IP65/IP67 metal-housing design is intended for indoor and outdoor applications, while its dimming input lets you reduce sign brightness at night to save energy or meet local lighting ordinances. The 96W rating at 20V covers most medium-sized sign arrays.
Can the HLG-100H-20B power dimmable 20V landscape lighting?
Yes. The combination of 96W at 20V output, the series' IP65/IP67 design, and dimming capability (1-10V/PWM/resistance) makes it well suited for path or garden LED fixtures that operate on 20V. Its -40°C to +80°C case temperature (Tcase) range handles seasonal extremes.
How much 20V LED strip can the HLG-100H-20B support?
Up to 96W total. Divide 96 by the strip's rated wattage per meter. For a 12W/m strip, the maximum is about 8 meters (96W / 12W per meter = 8m). Check your strip's rated power per meter and stay within the 96W limit.
Can the HLG-100H-20B survive being buried in a ground-level vault or below-grade enclosure?
The sheet rates the HLG-100H series IP65 or IP67 depending on type and gives no submersion rating for this model, so do not rely on it in vaults that may flood. Ensure proper drainage in the enclosure and use waterproof connectors on the cable connections.
What is the difference between the HLG-100H-20B and the HLG-100H-20AB?
Both are 96W / 20V / 4.8A and both accept dimming signals. The key difference: the -20B has no output adjustment potentiometers, while the -20AB adds built-in potentiometers to set output voltage (17-22V) and current (3-4.8A). Choose the -20AB when you need manual output trimming, and confirm the IP rating (IP65 or IP67) of each type for your location.
