Overview
HLG-120H-24 is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 5A, rated power 120W, typical efficiency 93%. Type Blank: Io and Vo fixed (IP67).
HLG-120H series is a 120W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-120H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-120H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 8. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED driver can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.
- 9. For OTP which triggered at light load/no load condition, proceed AC repower on to recovery.
- 10. This series meets the typical life expectancy of >62,000 hours of operation when Tcase, particularly tc point (or TMP, per DLC), is about 75℃ or less.

Can I use the HLG-120H-24 to power 24V LED strip lighting outdoors?
Yes. The HLG-120H-24 outputs 24V at up to 5A (120W) and carries an IP67 waterproof rating, making it well suited for outdoor 24V LED strip runs exposed to rain, snow, or irrigation spray. Its metal housing and -40°C to +80°C case temperature (Tcase) rating handle harsh weather conditions year-round.
Is the HLG-120H-24 a good fit for powering 24V LED channel-letter signage?
Yes. At 120W and 24V output, the HLG-120H-24 can drive a substantial run of 24V LED sign modules. The IP67 rating and wide 90-305VAC input make it practical for outdoor channel letters, cabinet signs, and monument signs where weather exposure and variable mains voltages are common.

How many meters of 24V LED strip can the HLG-120H-24 power?
That depends on the strip's rated power per meter. The HLG-120H-24 supplies up to 120W at 24V. For example, if your strip draws 14.4W/m, you could run up to about 8.3 meters (120W / 14.4W per meter). Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep the total load at or below 120W.
Can the HLG-120H-24 be mounted in an outdoor enclosure or wet-location junction box?
Yes. Its IP67 waterproof rating means the unit is protected against temporary submersion up to 1 meter depth. It can be mounted in outdoor enclosures, wet-location junction boxes, or directly exposed to rain without needing additional weatherproofing.
What are the differences between the HLG-120H-24, 24A, 24AB, and 24B variants?
All four share the same 120W / 24V / 5A core specs. The base HLG-120H-24 has fixed output and IP67 waterproof rating. The -24A adds output voltage/current adjustment via built-in potentiometer (IP65). The -24AB adds both adjustment and 1-10V/PWM dimming input (IP65). The -24B offers dimming input only and retains IP67 waterproof rating.
