Overview
HLG-120H-30B is the 30V output model of this series: rated current 4A, rated power 120W, typical efficiency 93%. Type B: 3 in 1 dimming function (1~10VDC, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP67).
HLG-120H series is a 120W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-120H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-120H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 8. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED driver can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.
- 9. For OTP which triggered at light load/no load condition, proceed AC repower on to recovery.
- 10. This series meets the typical life expectancy of >62,000 hours of operation when Tcase, particularly tc point (or TMP, per DLC), is about 75℃ or less.

Can I use the HLG-120H-30B with a 1-10V dimmer for outdoor 30V LED lighting?
Yes. The HLG-120H-30B accepts 1-10V and PWM dimming signals and carries an IP67 waterproof rating. You can dim outdoor 30V LED fixtures via an external controller while the driver is mounted in a fully exposed location. It delivers up to 120W at 30V.
Is the HLG-120H-30B a good choice for dimmable 30V LED facade or building wash lighting?
Yes. The 120W output at 30V can power a long run of facade wash fixtures or wall grazers. The dimming input enables scheduled brightness profiles or dynamic lighting scenes for architectural effect, and the IP67 rating allows outdoor mounting close to the fixtures.

How many meters of 30V LED strip can the HLG-120H-30B handle?
The HLG-120H-30B provides up to 120W at 30V. For a strip rated at 8W/m, you could run up to 15 meters (120W / 8W per meter = 15m). For a strip at 18W/m, the limit is about 6.6 meters. Check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load at or below 120W.
Can the HLG-120H-30B handle direct rain, freezing temperatures, and summer heat?
Yes. The IP67 waterproof rating protects against temporary submersion up to 1 meter, and the -40°C to +80°C case temperature (Tcase) rating covers extreme cold and hot climates, with load derating at high temperatures. It can be mounted fully exposed without an additional enclosure.
