Overview
HLG-120H-54A is the 54V output model of this series: rated current 2.3A, rated power 124.2W, typical efficiency 93.5%. Type A: Io and Vo adjustable through built-in potentiometer (IP65).
HLG-120H series is a 120W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-120H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-120H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes15
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 8. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED driver can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.
- 9. For OTP which triggered at light load/no load condition, proceed AC repower on to recovery.
- 10. This series meets the typical life expectancy of >62,000 hours of operation when Tcase, particularly tc point (or TMP, per DLC), is about 75℃ or less.

Can I use the HLG-120H-54A to trim the output for 54V LED panels that need a precise drive voltage?
Yes. The built-in potentiometers let you adjust the output voltage within 49-58V and the output current within 1.1-2.3A, which is useful when your 54V LED panel or COB module performs best at a slightly different drive point. In constant-current mode the driver covers a 27-54V region.
Is the HLG-120H-54A suitable for indoor commercial LED lighting installations?
Yes. At 124.2W and 54V with IP65 water-resistant protection, it works well in indoor commercial settings like offices, retail spaces, or warehouses. The adjustable output helps you optimize brightness for different ceiling heights or fixture types.
Can the HLG-120H-54A power 54V LED modules for illuminated signage in a sheltered location?
Yes. The 124.2W at 54V output can drive LED sign modules, and the adjustable output lets you match the voltage precisely to the module string. IP65 protection is sufficient for sheltered or semi-outdoor locations such as building overhangs or covered entrances.
How many meters of 54V LED strip can the HLG-120H-54A support?
Divide the 124.2W rated power by your strip's wattage per meter. For example, a 54V strip rated at 15W/m would allow about 8 meters (124.2W / 15W per meter = 8.3m). Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load at or below 124.2W.
Is the HLG-120H-54A suitable for damp or dusty environments like a workshop?
Yes. Its IP65 rating provides full dust protection and resistance to low-pressure water jets. This makes it appropriate for workshops, garages, laundry rooms, or food processing areas. For locations with direct heavy rainfall, the IP67-rated HLG-120H-54 would be a better choice.
