Overview
HLG-185H-C1050B is the model of this series: rated current 1050mA, rated power 199.5W, typical efficiency 94%. Type B: 3 in 1 dimming function (1~10Vdc, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP67).
HLG-185H-C series is a 200W AC/DC LED power supply featuring the constant current mode and high voltage output. HLG-185H-C operates from 90~305VAC and offers models with different rated current ranging between 500mA and 1400mA. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 94%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-185H-C is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes11
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 3. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 4. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 5. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 6. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED driver can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.
- 7. For OTP which triggered at light load/no load condition, proceed AC repower on to recovery.
- 8. This series meets the typical life expectancy of >62,000 hours of operation when Tcase, particularly tc point (or TMP, per DLC), is about 75℃ or less.

Can I use the HLG-185H-C1050B for dimmable LED downlight installations?
Yes. The HLG-185H-C1050B provides 1050mA constant current across a 95-190V range and includes a 1-10V/PWM dimming input. This makes it a strong choice for series-wired LED downlight strings where smooth brightness control is needed from an external dimmer or automation system.
Is the HLG-185H-C1050B a good fit for outdoor LED signage that needs dimming?

What is the difference between the HLG-185H-C1050B and the HLG-185H-C1050AB?
Both share the same 199.5W, 1050mA, 95-190V constant-current specs and dimming input. The C1050AB adds an output adjustment potentiometer that lets you fine-tune the current level, whereas the C1050B has dimming only with no manual adjustment. Choose the AB if you need to trim the drive current for a specific LED string.
Can the HLG-185H-C1050B operate in cold environments such as walk-in freezers?
Yes. The driver is rated for a case temperature (Tcase) down to -40°C, so it can function in freezer applications. Working humidity is rated at 10-95% RH non-condensing, and the series' IP65 or IP67 rating protects against dust and water.
How many LEDs can the HLG-185H-C1050B drive in series?
That depends on each LED's forward voltage. The driver's constant-current output covers 95-190V, so you divide the total available voltage by the forward voltage of each LED. For example, with LEDs rated at 3.2V each, you could theoretically wire up to 59 in series (190V / 3.2V). Always verify your LED forward voltages and ensure the total stays within the 95-190V range.
