Overview
HLG-480H-24A is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 20A, rated power 480W, typical efficiency 94%.
HLG-480H series is a 480W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-480H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 24V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 95.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications.HLG-480H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes13
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Can I use the HLG-480H-24A to fine-tune voltage for a large 24V LED installation?

How many meters of 24V LED strip can the HLG-480H-24A power?
Divide 480W by your strip's rated power per meter. For instance, a 24V strip at 10W/m would allow 48 meters (480W / 10W per meter = 48m), while a strip at 20W/m would allow 24 meters (480W / 20W per meter = 24m). Always verify your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load within 480W.
Is the HLG-480H-24A appropriate for a covered but unheated outdoor installation?
Yes. Its IP65 rating provides full dust protection and resistance to low-pressure water jets, which is adequate for covered outdoor areas. Its case temperature (Tcase) range of -40°C to +90°C handles freezing winters, and in hot summers output derating applies above about 60°C ambient at rated current. For fully rain-exposed locations, the IP67-rated HLG-480H-24 offers stronger water protection.
