Overview
HLG-60H-30 is the 30V output model of this series: rated current 2A, rated power 60W, typical efficiency 90%. Type Blank: Io and Vo fixed (IP67).
HLG-60H series is a 60W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-60H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 15V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-60H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.

Can I use the HLG-60H-30 to power 30V LED modules for outdoor signage?
Yes. The HLG-60H-30 outputs 30V at up to 2A (60W) with an IP67 waterproof rating, making it suitable for small outdoor LED signs, channel letters, or lightbox modules that run on 30V. Its wide 90-305VAC input works with mains supplies worldwide.
Is the HLG-60H-30 suitable for powering 30V LED grow lights or horticultural fixtures?
It can drive 30V LED fixtures used in small grow setups, provided the total load stays within 60W. The IP67 rating and metal housing suit greenhouse use within its 20-95% RH non-condensing working humidity. Its constant-current operation with a CC range of 18-30V helps maintain stable output for LED arrays.
Can the HLG-60H-30 drive 30V LED strip lighting in an outdoor installation?
Yes. With 60W at 30V and IP67 waterproofing, it can power 30V LED strips mounted on building exteriors, fences, or landscape features. The -40°C to +80°C case temperature (Tcase) range, with load derating at higher temperatures, covers both hot summers and freezing winters.
How many meters of 30V LED strip can the HLG-60H-30 power?
Divide 60W by your strip's rated power per meter. For example, a 30V strip drawing 10W/m would allow up to 6 meters (60W / 10W per meter = 6m). A strip at 15W/m would allow 4 meters. Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load at or below 60W.
Can the HLG-60H-30 be directly buried or submerged for underground LED lighting?
No. It is IP67-rated, but the datasheet does not rate it for direct burial or submersion. It suits ground-level outdoor locations exposed to rain when waterproof connectors or the CJ04 cable joiner are fitted to the cables. Follow the IP installation cautions in MEAN WELL's user manual.
