Overview
HLG-60H-42A is the 42V output model of this series: rated current 1.45A, rated power 60.9W, typical efficiency 90%. Type A: Io and Vo adjustable through built-in potentiometer (IP65).
HLG-60H series is a 60W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-60H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 15V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-60H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 8. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED driver can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.
- 9. This series meets the typical life expectancy of >62,000 hours of operation when Tcase, particularly tc point (or TMP, per DLC), is about 70℃ or less.

Can I use the HLG-60H-42A to drive 42V LED fixtures where I need to adjust the output?
Yes. The HLG-60H-42A delivers 60.9W at 42V with built-in potentiometers for voltage and current adjustment. How many meters of 42V LED strip can the HLG-60H-42A handle?
Divide the 60.9W rating by your strip's rated power per meter. For a 42V strip at 8W/m, you could run about 7.6 meters (60.9W / 8W per meter). For a strip at 15W/m, that drops to about 4 meters. Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total consumption at or below 60.9W.
Can the HLG-60H-42A be installed under a covered awning or overhang outdoors?
Yes. Its IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making covered outdoor locations like awnings, canopies, or equipment shelters suitable. For fully exposed installations with direct rain, consider the IP67-rated HLG-60H-42 instead.
