Test conditions and notes10
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Derating may be needed under low input voltage. Please check the static characteristics for more details.
- 5. The power supply is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the power supply may lead to increase of the set up time.

What 5V LED applications can the APV-35-5 support at 25W?
The APV-35-5 outputs 5V at 5A for a maximum of 25W. It suits larger 5V addressable LED strip installations, 5V LED pixel display panels, and multi-section 5V LED lighting systems where the combined load does not exceed 25W.
How long a 5V LED strip can the APV-35-5 power?
The APV-35-5 delivers 25W at 5V. At a strip rated 5 W/m, that supports approximately 5 m. Divide 25W by your strip's rated power per meter to calculate your specific limit, and check your strip's rated power per meter before specifying.
What temperature range does the APV-35-5 operate across?
The APV-35-5 is rated for operation from -30°C to +70°C, with output derating at higher ambient temperatures (refer to the derating curve). Combined with its IP42 ingress protection, it is designed for enclosed indoor environments. For high-ambient or outdoor installations, enclosure thermal management and higher IP-rated drivers should be considered.
