Overview
HBGC-300-M-AB is the model of this series: rated power 301.6W, typical efficiency 93.5%. Type AB: output constant power adjustable via built-in potentiometer + 3 in 1 dimming (0~10Vdc, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP67).
HBGC-300 series is a 300W LED AC/DC driver featuring the constant power mode and high voltage output. HBGC-300 operates from 90~305VAC and offers models with different rated current ranging between 1300mA and 8670mA. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 94.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃~+80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. Moreover the innovative environment-adaptive capability allows this series to reliably light on the LEDs for all kinds of application environments in almost any spots that may install LED luminaire in the world. HBGC-300 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 3. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 4. This series meets the typical life expectancy of >50,000 hours of operation when Tcase, particularly tc point (or TMP, per DLC), is about 75℃ or less.
- 5. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixture, this LED drive can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.

Can I use the HBGC-300-M-AB for dimmable LED downlights that need constant current?
Yes, if the LED downlight array is a constant-current load operating within 58-116V. This AB version supports dimming with 0-10Vdc, 10V PWM, and resistance, which can be useful in dimmable commercial fixtures. It is not intended for constant-voltage LED products.
Is the HBGC-300-M-AB appropriate for signage modules that need analog dimming control?
It can be appropriate when the signage assembly is a constant-current load and the total forward voltage falls within 58-116V. The exact number of modules depends on each module's forward voltage, so there is no fixed module count. Its 301.6W rating and 0-10Vdc / 10V PWM / resistance dimming support make it suitable for higher-power dimmable systems in that range.
Can this driver run a small LED array in a fixture that uses 0-10V dimming?
Yes, if the LED array is constant current and its operating voltage stays within 58-116V. The AB feature set is specifically the version in this series with 0-10Vdc, 10V PWM, and resistance dimming support. It should not be used as a constant-voltage source for 12V or 24V LED arrays.
How do I size an LED load for the HBGC-300-M-AB?
Match it to a constant-current LED load whose total forward voltage is inside the 58-116V CC range and whose total power stays within 301.6W. The usable number of LEDs depends on the forward voltage of each LED or module, so LED count is not a fixed specification for this driver. That distinction matters because this is a constant-current driver, not a constant-voltage power supply.
Can the HBGC-300-M-AB handle outdoor or temperature-exposed lighting applications?
