Overview
HLG-240H-24 is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 10A, rated power 240W, typical efficiency 92.5%.
HLG-240H series is a 240W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-240H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-240H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 8. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED driver can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.

Can I use the HLG-240H-24 to power long runs of 24V LED strip lighting outdoors?
Yes. The HLG-240H-24 delivers 24V at up to 10A (240W) with an IP67 waterproof rating, making it ideal for extended outdoor 24V LED strip installations. The 24V output reduces voltage drop over long runs compared to 12V systems, which is advantageous for long continuous runs.
Is the HLG-240H-24 suitable for powering 24V LED high-bay fixtures in a factory?
Yes. At 240W and 24V output with constant-current operation across a CC range of 12-24V, it can reliably drive 24V LED high bays. Its -40°C to +90°C case temperature rating (with derating at high temperatures) suits industrial environments, and the IP67 rating protects against dust and moisture.
Can the HLG-240H-24 drive 24V LED modules for outdoor commercial signage?
Yes. With 240W of available power at 24V, it can handle large arrays of 24V LED channel letters or light box modules. The IP67 waterproof metal housing is well suited for mounting inside outdoor sign cabinets, and the wide 90-305VAC input handles variable commercial mains supplies.
How many meters of 24V LED strip can the HLG-240H-24 power?
Divide 240W by your strip's wattage per meter. For example, a 24V strip rated at 10W/m would allow 24 meters (240W / 10W per meter = 24m). A higher-density strip at 20W/m would allow 12 meters. Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load at or below 240W.
Can the HLG-240H-24 handle extreme cold or hot outdoor environments?
Yes. It is rated for a case temperature (Tcase) of -40°C to +90°C, with output derating at high temperatures per the sheet's load vs temperature curve. The IP67 waterproof rating protects against rain, snow, and temporary submersion. The fanless metal housing cools by free air convection.
