Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the PHP-3500-48 for a high-power 48V telecom or network DC bus?
Yes, this model is suited to large 48V constant-voltage systems. It is rated at 3504W with 48V output and 73A output current, which makes it relevant for telecom, network, or industrial IT equipment built around a 48V bus.
Is the PHP-3500-48 a fit for industrial embedded compute racks or control systems that distribute 48V power?
It can be, provided the equipment is designed for a 48V constant-voltage supply. With 3504W available and 73A output current, it is sized for high-load 48V infrastructure rather than small embedded boards.
Can the PHP-3500-48 be used in large automated test systems that need adjustable output behavior?
Yes, the listed features include programmable output voltage and programmable constant current level. Combined with 3504W at 48V and 73A, that makes it suitable for heavy 48V test platforms or production equipment.
Does the PHP-3500-48 support scaling to higher total 48V power?
Yes, the series supports active current sharing up to 14000W in a 3+1 arrangement. That makes this model useful when a single 3504W 48V supply is not enough for the full system load.
Is the PHP-3500-48 intended for outdoor use or wide temperature ranges?
Its operating temperature range is -30°C to +70°C, so it is suitable for broad temperature conditions. The supplied specs do not give an IP rating, so direct outdoor exposure is not established and a protective enclosure should be assumed if the environment requires it.
What other output options exist in the PHP-3500 family?
Other listed base models are PHP-3500-115 at 3500W 115V 26.3A, PHP-3500-230 at 3500W 230V 16.1A, PHP-3500-24 at 3480W 24V 145A, and PHP-3500-380 at 3500W 380V 10.5A. The series also includes PHP-3500-115+HS-656, PHP-3500-230+HS-656, PHP-3500-24+HS-656, PHP-3500-380+HS-656, and PHP-3500-48+HS-656, each listed at 3480W 50V. PHP-3500-24-冷套 and PHP-3500-48-冷套 are present in the family list, but no electrical ratings were supplied for those versions.
