Overview
HLG-240H-15 is the 15V output model of this series: rated current 15A, rated power 225W, typical efficiency 90%. Type Blank: Io and Vo fixed (IP67).
HLG-240H series is a 240W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-240H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-240H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes13
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.

Can I use the HLG-240H-15 to power 15V LED strips or modules outdoors?
Yes. The HLG-240H-15 delivers 225W at 15V with up to 15A and carries an IP67 waterproof rating. It is suitable for outdoor 15V LED strip runs, linear lighting, or module arrays exposed to rain and moisture.
Is the HLG-240H-15 suitable for driving 15V LED fixtures in industrial or warehouse settings?
Yes. With 225W of output at 15V and a wide 90-305VAC input range, the HLG-240H-15 can reliably power 15V LED fixtures in factories, warehouses, or workshops. The fanless metal housing cools by free air convection, and the -40°C to +90°C case temperature rating, with derating at high temperatures, covers hot industrial environments.
Can the HLG-240H-15 power 15V LED signage modules?
Yes. At 225W and 15V output, this driver has ample capacity for 15V LED channel letters, light boxes, or cabinet sign modules. Its IP67 rating allows it to be mounted inside outdoor sign housings where condensation or water splash may occur.
How many meters of 15V LED strip can the HLG-240H-15 power?
Divide 225W by your strip's rated power per meter. For example, a 15V strip drawing 15W/m could run 15 meters (225W / 15W per meter = 15m). Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load at or below 225W.
Can the HLG-240H-15 be directly exposed to rain and standing water?
Yes. Its IP67 rating means the unit is fully dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion in water. It can be mounted outdoors without any additional weatherproof enclosure; it is not intended for permanent submersion.
What are the differences between the HLG-240H-15, 15A, and 15AB models?
All three share the same 225W / 15V / 15A core specs and 244.2 x 68.0 x 38.8 mm dimensions. The base HLG-240H-15 has no adjustment or dimming and is IP67 waterproof. The -15A adds a built-in potentiometer for output voltage and current adjustment and is IP65 water-resistant. The -15AB adds both the adjustment potentiometer and a 1-10V/PWM dimming input, also at IP65.
