HLG-240H-20B is the 20V output model of this series: rated current 12A, rated power 240W, typical efficiency 91.5%. Type B: 3 in 1 dimming function (1~10VDC, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP67).

HLG-240H series is a 240W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-240H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-240H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes13

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

Can I use the HLG-240H-20B for outdoor 20V LED strip lighting with brightness control?

Yes. The HLG-240H-20B outputs 20V at up to 12A (240W) with an IP67 waterproof rating and a built-in dimming input (1-10V/PWM). You can install it in fully exposed outdoor locations and use an external dimmer or lighting controller to adjust LED strip brightness.

Is the HLG-240H-20B a good fit for dimmable 20V LED signage exposed to the elements?

Yes. With 240W at 20V and the IP67 waterproof rating, it can drive large 20V sign modules in fully exposed outdoor locations. The dimming input allows you to reduce sign brightness at night to comply with local ordinances or save energy, without needing a separate outdoor-rated dimmer enclosure.

Can the HLG-240H-20B survive being installed in a wet underground junction box?

What are the differences between the HLG-240H-20, 20A, 20AB, and 20B models?

All four deliver 240W at 20V / 12A. The base HLG-240H-20 has fixed output with IP67 waterproof rating. The -20A adds output adjustment via potentiometer but drops to IP65. The -20AB adds both adjustment and 1-10V/PWM dimming at IP65. The -20B (this model) provides dimming input while retaining the full IP67 waterproof rating.
