Overview
HLG-240H-54AB is the 54V output model of this series: rated current 4.45A, rated power 240.3W, typical efficiency 93.5%. Type AB: Io and Vo adjustable through built-in potentiometer & 3 in 1 dimming function (1~10Vdc, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP65).
HLG-240H series is a 240W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-240H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-240H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 8. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED driver can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.

Can I use the HLG-240H-54AB with a 1-10V dimmer to control 54V LED warehouse lighting?
Yes. The AB suffix means the HLG-240H-54AB has both output adjustment and a 1-10V/PWM dimming interface. You can connect it to a warehouse lighting controller that sends a 1-10V signal to dim 54V LED fixtures. The adjustable potentiometer also allows manual fine-tuning of voltage and current.
Is the HLG-240H-54AB a good driver for 54V tunable-white LED fixtures in an office?
It can drive and dim one 54V LED channel: it provides 240W at 54V, the dimming input adjusts the output current, and the built-in potentiometer lets you calibrate the driver to the LED module's operating point. It has a single output, so a tunable-white fixture would need one driver per channel with the colour mix set by your controller.
Can the HLG-240H-54AB power dimmable 54V LED signage in a covered outdoor area?
Yes. At 240W and 54V with IP65 water-resistant protection, the HLG-240H-54AB is suitable for covered outdoor locations such as gas station canopies, bus shelters, and building overhangs. The dimming input allows scheduled brightness adjustments for nighttime vs. daytime operation.
How many meters of 54V LED strip can the HLG-240H-54AB drive?
That depends on the strip's rated power per meter. The HLG-240H-54AB supplies up to 240W at 54V. For example, if your 54V strip draws 19.2W per meter, you could run up to 240 / 19.2 = 12.5 meters. Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total wattage at or below 240W.
Is IP65 adequate for the HLG-240H-54AB in a location exposed to light rain under an overhang?
Yes. IP65 protects against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. This is sufficient for locations under eaves, overhangs, or canopies where direct downpour is blocked. For fully exposed outdoor installations with potential water immersion, select the IP67-rated HLG-240H-54B instead.
What distinguishes the HLG-240H-54AB from the other HLG-240H-54 variants?
All four 54V models share 240W / 54V / 4.45A core specs. The base -54 has fixed output and IP67. The -54A adds potentiometer adjustment (IP65). The -54AB (this model) combines both adjustment and 1-10V/PWM dimming (IP65). The -54B has dimming only and retains IP67. Choose the -54AB when you need both manual calibration and remote dimming control.
