Overview
HLG-320H-12A is the 12V output model of this series: rated current 22A, rated power 264W, typical efficiency 91%. Type A: Io and Vo adjustable through built-in potentiometer (IP65).
HLG-320H series is a 320W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-320H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 94%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-320H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 8. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED driver can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.
- 9. This series meets the typical life expectancy of >62,000 hours of operation when Tcase, particularly tc point (or TMP, per DLC), is about 75℃ or less.

Can I use the HLG-320H-12A to adjust output voltage for 12V LED strip runs that experience voltage drop?
Yes. The HLG-320H-12A includes a built-in potentiometer that lets you increase the output voltage slightly above nominal 12V (adjustable 10.8-13.5V) to compensate for voltage drop over long LED strip runs. This helps maintain uniform brightness at the far end of the strip. The CC range of 6-12V also accommodates varied LED configurations.
Is the HLG-320H-12A suitable for powering large 12V LED signage installations with adjustable brightness?
The HLG-320H-12A delivers 264W at 12V with 22A output and a potentiometer for current and voltage adjustment. However, it does not have a dimming input — the potentiometer sets a fixed output level. If you need remote or automated brightness control, consider the HLG-320H-12AB or HLG-320H-12B instead.
Can the HLG-320H-12A drive 12V LED modules for retail display lighting?
Yes. At 264W and 12V, the HLG-320H-12A can power extensive 12V LED module arrays in retail displays, showcases, and backlit graphics. The adjustable output lets you fine-tune brightness to the display designer's specification. Its compact dimensions of 252.0 × 90.0 × 43.8 mm allow concealed mounting behind display walls.
How many watts of 12V LED fixtures can I connect to the HLG-320H-12A?
The HLG-320H-12A supplies up to 264W at 12V (22A). Your total connected 12V LED load must stay at or below 264W. For example, if you have ten 12V LED modules at 24W each, the total is 240W, which is within the driver's capacity. Always verify each module's rated wattage before connecting.
Is the HLG-320H-12A rated for damp or semi-outdoor locations?
Yes. The HLG-320H series is rated IP65 or IP67 depending on type, and its metal housing is designed for indoor and outdoor applications. It is suitable for damp locations, ventilated outdoor cabinets, covered canopies, and sign boxes where direct rain is blocked. For fully exposed installations, confirm the A-type's rating first.
What are the differences between the HLG-320H-12, 12A, 12AB, and 12B models?
All four share 264W / 12V / 22A core specs. The base HLG-320H-12 has fixed output. The -12A (this model) adds output voltage/current adjustment via potentiometers. The -12AB adds current adjustment plus a 3-in-1 dimming input (1-10VDC, 10V PWM or resistance). The -12B provides the dimming input only. The series is rated IP65 or IP67 depending on type.
