HLG-320H series is a 320W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-320H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 94%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-320H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.

Can I use the HLG-320H-24B to dim outdoor 24V LED landscape lighting?

Yes. The HLG-320H-24B supports 1-10V, PWM and resistance dimming, and the series' IP65/IP67-rated metal housing is designed for outdoor use. This makes it suitable for outdoor 24V landscape lighting where you want to dim pathways or garden lights at night; check the B-type's IP rating before exposing it to rain and sprinklers.

Is the HLG-320H-24B suitable for dimmable 24V LED parking lot or security lighting?

Yes. At 320W and 24V with dimming capability, it can power large arrays of 24V LED parking lot or security fixtures. Connecting a timer or lighting controller with a 1-10V, PWM or resistance output to the dimming input allows automatic brightness reduction during low-traffic hours to save energy.

Can the HLG-320H-24B drive 24V LED signage with nighttime dimming?

Yes. With 320W at 24V, it handles substantial 24V sign loads. The 1-10V/PWM dimming input lets you reduce sign brightness at night to comply with local light-pollution ordinances or to conserve power without fully switching off the sign.

How many meters of 24V LED strip can the HLG-320H-24B power?

Divide 320W by your strip's wattage per meter. A strip rated at 12W/m, for example, allows about 26.6 meters (320W / 12W per meter). Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load at or below 320W.

Can the HLG-320H-24B withstand direct rain and snow exposure in an outdoor installation?

The HLG-320H series is rated IP65 or IP67 depending on type, and its metal housing is designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. The datasheet does not state immersion performance, so check the B-type's rating and the IP installation cautions in MEAN WELL's user manual before a fully exposed installation.

Does the HLG-320H-24B work in extremely cold climates?

Yes. The case temperature (Tcase) range is -40°C to +90°C, so the driver will start and operate in sub-zero conditions found in northern climates. The fanless metal housing is cooled by free-air convection.
