Overview
LRS-350-36 is the 36V output model of this series: rated current 9.7A, rated power 349.2W, typical efficiency 88.5%.
LRS-350 series is a 350W single-output enclosed type power supply with 30mm of low profile design. Adopting the input of 115VAC or 230VAC (select by switch), the entire series provides an output voltage line of 3.3V, 4.2V, 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, 36V and 48V. In addition to the high efficiency up to 89%, with the built-in long life fan LRS-350 can work under -25~+70℃ with full load. Delivering an extremely low no load power consumption (less than 0.75W), it allows the end system to easily meet the worldwide energy requirement. LRS-350 has the complete protection functions and 5G anti-vibration capability; it is complied with the international safety regulations such as IEC/UL 62368-1. LRS-350 series serves as a high price-to-performance power supply solution for various industrial applications.

Test conditions and notes12
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Line regulation is measured from low line to high line at rated load.
- 5. Load regulation is measured from 0% to 100% rated load.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at cold first start. Turning ON/OFF the power supply very quickly may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The 150% peak load capability is built in for up to 1 second for 12~48V.LRS-350 will enter hiccup mode if the peak load is delivered for over 1 second and will recover once it resumes to the rated current level(115VAC/230VAC).
- 8. The ambient temperature derating of 5℃/1000m is needed for operating altitude greater than 2000m(6500ft).
- 9. The power supply is considered a component which will be installed into a final equipment. All the EMC tests are been executed by mounting the unit on a 360mm*360mm metal plate with 1mm of thickness. The final equipment must be re-confirmed that it still meets EMC directives. For guidance on how to perform these EMC tests, please refer to “EMI testing of component power supplies.” (as available on https://www.meanwell.com//Upload/PDF/EMI_statement_en.pdf)
- 10. This power supply does not meet the harmonic current requirements outlined by BS EN/EN61000-3-2. Please do not use this power supply under the following conditions: a) the end-devices is used within the European Union, and b) the end-devices is connected to public mains supply with 220Vac or greater rated nominal voltage, and c) the power supply is: - installed in end-devices with average or continuous input power greater than 75W, or - belong to part of a lighting system Exception: Power supplies used within the following end-devices do not need to fulfill BS EN/EN61000-3-2 a) professional equipment with a total rated input power greater than 1000W; b) symmetrically controlled heating elements with a rated power less than or equal to 200W

Is the LRS-350-36 suitable for powering industrial automation equipment at 36V?
Yes. The LRS-350-36 delivers 36V at up to 9.7A (349.2W) and operates from -25°C to +70°C (with derating at higher ambient per the derating curve), making it appropriate for PLCs, servo drives, and other 36V industrial automation loads. Its 5G vibration rating also suits environments with mechanical noise or movement.
What is the input voltage range of the LRS-350-36, and can it run on both 120V and 240V mains?
The LRS-350-36 accepts 90–132VAC or 180–264VAC, selected by a 115/230VAC input switch, so it runs on both 120V (North American) and 230/240V (European/international) mains once the switch is set to match the supply. With the switch on 230VAC it also accepts 240–370VDC.
How does the LRS-350-36 compare to other LRS-350 voltage variants?
All LRS-350 single-output models share the same 215 × 115 × 30 mm footprint and 0.76 kg weight. Output power and current differ by voltage: LRS-350-12 (348W, 29A), LRS-350-15 (348W, 23.2A), LRS-350-24 (350.4W, 14.6A), LRS-350-36 (349.2W, 9.7A), LRS-350-48 (350.4W, 7.3A). Lower voltages yield proportionally higher current at similar wattage.
Can the LRS-350-36 be used in outdoor enclosures or in harsh environments?
The datasheet lists no IP rating and specifies 20–90% RH non-condensing humidity, so the LRS-350-36 requires installation inside a suitably rated protective cabinet for outdoor or wet locations. It operates from -25°C to +70°C, with derating at higher ambient temperatures per the derating curve.
What certifications does the LRS-350-36 carry, and are they relevant for CE-marked systems?
The LRS-350-36 is certified to IEC/UL 62368-1, BSMI CNS15598-1, EAC TP TC 004, GB 4943.1, BIS IS13252 and BS EN/EN61558-1/-2-16, designed to BS EN/EN62368-1, with EMC immunity to BS EN/EN55035.
