How many meters of LED strip can the XLG-240-H-A drive?
The driver delivers up to 239.6W. Dividing 239.6W by the rated power-per-meter of your strip gives the maximum length — for example, a 14.4 W/m strip supports roughly 16.6 m (239.6 ÷ 14.4). Always check your strip's rated power per meter and apply a 20% derating margin for thermal safety.
What is the difference between the XLG-240-H-A and the XLG-240-H-AB?
Both models are 239.6W constant-current drivers with a 27–56V CC voltage range and IP67 rating. The XLG-240-H-AB adds a dimming interface (the 'B' suffix), while the XLG-240-H-A is adjustable but not dimmable via an external signal. Choose the AB if you need 0-10V or PWM dimming control.
Can the XLG-240-H-A be installed inside an enclosed luminaire housing?
Yes. The metal case construction and -40°C to +90°C operating temperature range allow installation inside sealed or enclosed fixtures. Ensure the housing allows adequate conduction of heat away from the driver to stay within its temperature limits.
