Yes. The ELG-100-42B supports 3-in-1 dimming: 1–10V analogue, PWM signal, and resistance dimming. A PWM input from a standard lighting controller or microcontroller will modulate the output current proportionally, allowing smooth dimming of 42V LED loads.
Is the ELG-100-42B waterproof enough for outdoor LED signage?
Yes. The ELG-100-42B carries an IP67 rating, making it fully sealed against dust and water immersion up to 1 metre for 30 minutes. This level of protection is appropriate for outdoor LED channel letter signs and lightboxes exposed to direct rain.
Can I run 42V dimmable LED strips for landscape lighting with the ELG-100-42B?
Yes. The IP67 rating and -40°C to +90°C operating range make the ELG-100-42B suitable for buried or ground-mounted landscape lighting installations. The 3-in-1 dimming allows integration with landscape lighting controllers that output a 0–10V or PWM signal. At 95.76W maximum, it supports approximately 9.5 meters of 42V strip rated at 10W per meter—verify your strip’s rated power per meter.
How does the ELG-100-42B differ from the ELG-100-42 base model?
Both share the same 95.76W / 42V / 2.28A output and IP67 waterproof rating. The ELG-100-42B adds 3-in-1 dimming capability (1–10V, PWM, resistance) that the base ELG-100-42 lacks. Choose the base model for fixed-output applications; choose the ‘B’ when dimming control is required.
