How long a run of 48V LED strip can one ELG-200-48 support?
The ELG-200-48 outputs 199.68W at 48V. Divide that by your strip's rated wattage per meter: for a 10W/m strip the maximum is about 19.9 m (199.68 ÷ 10), and for a 14.4W/m strip roughly 13.9 m (199.68 ÷ 14.4). Apply at least 20% derating for thermal headroom, giving practical limits of approximately 16 m and 11 m respectively. Check your strip's rated power per meter for an accurate figure.
Can the ELG-200-48 be used in a data-center or server-room indicator lighting application?
