HLG-600H-24B is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 25A, rated power 600W, typical efficiency 95%.

HLG-600H series is a 600W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-600H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 96%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-600H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes13

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

Can I use the HLG-600H-24B to power dimmable 24V LED lighting in a fully exposed outdoor area?

Yes. The HLG-600H-24B delivers 600W at 24V / 25A with a 0-10VDC/10V PWM/resistance dimming input and carries an IP67 waterproof rating. It can be mounted in locations exposed to direct rain, snow, and temporary submersion, making it ideal for outdoor plazas, facades, or landscape lighting.

Is the HLG-600H-24B suitable for powering 24V LED fixtures on a bridge or outdoor structure?

Yes. The IP67 waterproof rating and -40°C to +90°C case temperature (Tcase) range handle the conditions typical of bridge and structural lighting. At 600W and 24V, it can power a large number of architectural LED fixtures, and the dimming input enables brightness control for nighttime dimming schedules.

Can the HLG-600H-24B drive 24V LED strip lighting in a car wash or wet industrial environment?

Yes, with care. The IP67 rating means it is dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion; the datasheet does not rate it for high-pressure water jets, so keep it out of direct wash spray. At 600W it has ample capacity for extensive LED strip runs, and the 0-10VDC/10V PWM/resistance dimming input allows brightness adjustments without accessing the driver.

How many meters of 24V LED strip can the HLG-600H-24B handle?

It depends on your strip's power consumption per meter. At 600W and 24V, a strip rated at 14.4W/m allows about 41 meters (600W / 14.4W per meter ≈ 41.7m). A 7.2W/m strip would allow about 83 meters. Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total draw within 600W.

Can the HLG-600H-24B be buried or installed in a below-grade enclosure?

The datasheet rates the HLG-600H-24B IP67 for indoor and outdoor applications but does not cover direct burial or below-grade enclosures. Its case temperature range is -40°C to +90°C; refer to MEAN WELL's user manual for IP waterproof installation cautions before installing it below grade.
