Test conditions and notes3
- 1. All parameters are specified at normal input(12VDC,24VDC), rated load, 25℃ 70% RH ambient.
- 2. (Blank) type and W type output voltage must step up by 3 Volts from input DC voltage; (Blank)DA type and WDA type output voltage must step up by 12 Volts from input DC voltage.
- 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf parallel capacitor.

Can the LDH-45B-700DA power a 700mA LED downlight assembly?
Yes, if the downlight assembly is a constant current load rated for 700mA. This model operates over a 36-64V constant current output range with up to 44.8W, so it fits LED strings whose combined forward voltage is within that range. It is not designed for constant voltage lighting products.
Is this a good option for 700mA signage modules with a higher forward voltage?
Yes, this version is better suited to higher-forward-voltage 700mA module strings because its constant current range starts at 36V and extends to 64V. That makes it a fit for constant current signage modules in that window, up to 44.8W. It is not a substitute for a constant voltage driver.
Can I use the LDH-45B-700DA in outdoor LED equipment?
Only when the equipment protects it from water: the datasheet gives no IP or waterproof rating and specifies 20-90% RH non-condensing. It has a -40°C to +70°C operating temperature range (refer to the derating curve) for demanding conditions. The LED load still must be a 700mA constant current load within 36-64V.

There is no single LED count because the limit depends on each LED's forward voltage. Electrically, the driver supplies 700mA constant current and supports a total LED forward voltage of 36-64V. That means compatibility should be checked against the full string voltage, not by counting LEDs alone.
What environmental conditions is the LDH-45B-700DA built for?
It is specified for -40°C to +70°C operation (refer to the derating curve), 20-90% RH non-condensing humidity and 10-500Hz, 2G vibration; no IP or waterproof rating is listed. Its compact size of 75.0 × 53.0 × 22.7 mm also helps where enclosure space is limited. Those environmental specs do not change the need for a 700mA constant current LED load.
