Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the EPS-65-36 for 36V industrial control or automation equipment?
Yes, if the load is designed for constant 36V input and stays within 1.81A and 65.16W. That makes it appropriate for 36V automation devices, control assemblies, and OEM electronics that require a fixed-voltage DC supply.
Is the EPS-65-36 suitable for 36V embedded systems or industrial electronics?
It is suitable for embedded or industrial equipment that expects a regulated 36V output and draws no more than 1.81A. The constant-voltage design is intended for devices specified for a fixed 36V supply rather than a constant-current source.
Can this model power 36V sensors, controllers, or test equipment in an OEM enclosure?
Yes, provided the total demand is within 65.16W and 1.81A at 36V. Its compact 101.6 × 50.8 × 29.0 mm size can also help in space-constrained enclosed equipment.
Is the EPS-65-36 meant for indoor or outdoor environments?
The operating temperature range is -30°C to +70°C, so it can handle a wide temperature span in protected equipment. Since no IP rating is listed in the provided specs, it is better treated as an indoor or enclosure-mounted power supply rather than an exposed outdoor unit.
How does the EPS-65-36 compare with other 36V models in the EPS series?
The listed 36V siblings are EPS-15-36 at 15.12W and 0.42A, EPS-25-36 at 25.2W and 0.7A, EPS-35-36 at 36W and 1A, EPS-45-36 and EPS-45-36-C at 45W and 1.25A, and EPS-65-36 / EPS-65-36-C at 65.16W and 1.81A. This places EPS-65-36 at the top of the listed 36V range for both wattage and current.

Replacement PS
Model: EPS-15-15 ×1, EPS-15-5 ×1, EPS-15-7.5 ×1Quantity: 1Power Supplies were used to replace the one that was removed on a Phillips PM6680 counter, a +5V, +15V and -7V. They seem to work well so far. I have to put in a boost converter on the +15V for space and not use the +15V EPS.
