Overview
HBG-160-24B is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 6.5A, rated power 156W, typical efficiency 92%. Type B: 3 in 1 dimming function (1~10Vdc, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP67).
HBG-160 series is a 160W AC/DC LED driver featuring the circular shape design. It operates from 90~305VAC and offers the dual modes constant voltage and constant current output models with different rated voltage between 24V and 60V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +85℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit indoor and outdoor applications. HBG-160 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at cold first start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 8. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Within the HBG-160 series, the 24V models (HBG-160-24, -24A, -24B, -24AB and -24DA) are all rated 156W at 6.5A with a 14.4-24V constant current range. They differ in control: the A type has a built-in current-adjust potentiometer, the B type has 3-in-1 dimming, the AB type has both, and the DA type uses DALI. This HBG-160-24B is the 3-in-1 dimming version.
