Yes, this model is suitable for signage applications and provides 42V at 1.95A in constant-current mode. The connected LED load needs to operate inside the 25-42V CC range and remain within the 81.9W rating.
Is this driver suitable for 42V linear LED fixtures or rigid bars?
It can be used with 42V constant-current LED fixtures that require 1.95A. The total fixture demand must stay at or below 81.9W.
Can this be used for sheltered outdoor accent lighting?
The IP64 enclosure makes it suitable for applications where the driver may be exposed to dust and splashing water. It is also rated for operation from -40°C to +50°C.
How much LED strip can the HLN-80H-42A support?
Use the power rating of 81.9W and divide it by your strip's watts per meter to estimate maximum theoretical length. The formula is 81.9 ÷ strip W/m = max meters; check your strip rated power per meter and confirm it is a 42V load.
Will this work with my 42V LED load?
It is intended for constant-current LED loads that operate from 25V to 42V at 1.95A. If the load sits outside that 25-42V range or needs more than 81.9W, it is not the correct driver.
